Snow Blizzard in Ohio

SnoWow, the last six days have been cold, windy and very snowy!

On Friday the 5th our area in Ohio received around 12" of snow by mid day Saturday the 6th.  We ended up closing on Saturday along with several other businesses so there was not much to do except to sit in your house and enjoy your families which was a great thing.  Sunday was not much better but slightly improved compared to the day before.  Monday everything resumed like normal and the roads were in fair condition and able to travel at respectable speeds.  Work was great and people were out enjoying themselves again, however, it wouldn't last long.

Monday night came another snow storm, this time dumping between 4"-8" depending on your area.  A few of us trucked it into work very, very slowly.  The back roads were covered, Interstate 70 was horrible and the State Routes were almost unbearable.  As long as you were doing 30 MPH you were ok for the most part.

Here is a video of my trek into work on  February 9th 2010.

The roads on State Route 503 in Preble County didn't look to good did they?  Let me just tell you, our towing service at D&D RV and Auto has been quite busy the past six days and I don't think it will get better any time soon.

Have a video, photos or comments on the Blizzard of 2010, shoot us an email and share it with us and if you'd like we'll post it on our blog.

Thanks for viewing and enjoy the blizzard before it's gone!!!
